Azzam has a mixed Civil, Criminal and Family practice at Walnut House. Prior to commencing his Pupillage, Azzam served as Law Clerk (Judicial Associate) to a Supreme Court Judge in the Supreme Court of Pakistan. He assisted on numerous landmark cases, drafting both bench memoranda and research briefs, and was cited as the drafting officer on many judgments.
He holds a practising licence for the Courts in Pakistan, where he practised until 2014, whereafter he completed a Masters in Security and International Law from the University of Glasgow, a Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP University and the Bar Professional Training Course with a Very Competent from Cardiff University. Upon successful completion of his first six, Azzam will be available to take instructions from April 2023.
Outside of practice, Azzam enjoys target shooting, archery and building model armoured vehicles.
Laura is a family barrister with a busy and varied practice acting and advising in public and private law proceedings, applications for injunctive relief and financial remedy proceedings. She is a personable and approachable advocate who prides herself on going the extra mile for her clients.
