A crime specialist with trial experience in both Crown and Magistrates' Courts.

I was called to the Bar in 2003 and joined Walnut House in 2005 after completing pupillage at 9-12 Bell Yard in London.

I studied Law at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth and graduated in 2000.

I completed a Diploma in Law in 2002 and was a Gray's Inn Beddingfield Scholar.

I prosecute and defend across a wide spectrum of the criminal law. I have also appeared in The Court of Appeal. I have exprience in conducting cases that involve a variety of offences including sexual assaults, fraud, drug offences, and theft.

I have been involved in a number of cases where Defendants have been charged with money laundering offences. A number of these cases had connections with drugs and involved large sums of cash being transferred out of the UK to other European countries. I have experience in applications for confiscation under the Proceeds of Crime Act.

I have experience prosecuting and defending both serious and minor offences of violence. I have been junior for the prosecution in a murder trial and a junior for the defence in a trial involving a charge of manslaughter.

I undertake Parole Board work and also appear in prison adjudication matters as well as inquests and court martials.

R -v- M. Court martial - Defending a Naval serviceman who was accused of indecent assault.

R -v- N. Defending in a large multi-handed complex trial which was brought by Customs and Excise. 

R -v- C. Led junior - Prosecution of multi-handed complex trial involving various Proceeds of Crime offences.

R -v- G & others. Led junior - Prosecution of multi-handed trial where the defendants were charged with various counts of money laundering and using counterfeit currencey.

R -v- J. Court martial - Defending a soldier who was charged with various theft offences.

R -v- P. Led junior - Defence case where the defendant was accused of a serious assault on a baby.

R -v- P. Defending in a trial where the defendant is accused of numerous charges of historic sexual abuse of young family members.

R-v-C & J. Led junior - Prosecuting a trial where the defendants were charged with murder.

R-v-H & others. Led junior - Prosecution of a multi-handed trial involving a conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
