Area of Practice:Criminal Law Barrister, Family Law and Civil Law

A crime specialist  with experience in both Crown and Magistrates' Court trials. Also experienced in civil cases including contract, personal injury, bankruptcy and possession claims. 

After studying Philosophy at University College London I qualified as a pensions and shares Solicitor with Osborne Clarke. I was called to the bar in 2006 and started my pupillage with Walnut House that same year; becoming a member of chambers in 2007.

Criminal Law:

I prosecute and defend at all levels of court across a broad range of offences including serious drug offences and serious assaults. I also appear to prosecute and defend in more specialist areas (local authority work, Food Standards, the Environment Agency and prison adjudications)

Civil Law:

I undertake a broad range of civil matters including contract; bankruptcy and possession claims. Additionally I have a great deal of experience of cases involving mobile homes and represent both occupiers and site owners.

Cases of Note: 

R-v-W  Defending in a multi-handed trial for offences contary to environmental protection legislation; involving complex legal argument interpreting European case law.

R-v-M Defending offence of possession with intent to supply heroin.

R-v-P Defending client accused of offences contary to S.18 of OAP Act.

R-v-D Prosecuting offences of possession with intent to supply "crack" cocaine.
